Trione-Annadel State Park New Volunteer Training - Nov 2

Volunteers are essential to providing a happy, safe experience for park visitors as well as for the park itself.

Would you like to become a volunteer in Trione-Annadel State Park?

Date: Saturday, November 2, 2019

Time: 8:45 AM check-in, training: 9 AM till 1 PM

Location: Trio ne-Annadel State Park Visitor Center, 6201 Channel Drive, Santa Rosa

Cost: FREE!

RSVP Required: Sarah.Reid@parks.ca.gov

This training includes registration as a CA State Parks Volunteer, orientation about the park, and sign-up for volunteer assignments.

Volunteer assignments include these and more:

Foot Patrol/Bike Patrol volunteers provide service while hiking/biking in the park (hand out maps, give route suggestions, report trail hazards, pick up litter). Visitor Center Staff provide visitor services on weekends and holidays (prerequisite is that you know the park well). We are always looking for volunteer Hike Leaders and Hike Sweeps. There are also opportunities to provide trail maintenance or help on special projects. And more!

RSVP required: Sarah Reid, Volunteer Coordinator: sarah.reid@parks.ca.gov or email with questions. We ask that volunteers be able to provide a minimum of 48 hours of service per year. Additional training for some assignments and enrichment opportunities are made available for volunteers.
