Riverfront Art Gallery Celebrates 12th Anniversary

By Sharon Feissel

On September 16, 2007, Riverfront Art Gallery first opened its doors. On September 14, 2019, the gallery will celebrate the completion of its 12th year on the Boulevard!

Co-owners Lance Kuehne and Jerrie Morago were convinced that a gallery of local artists could work, but the art business is notoriously difficult, so nothing was certain. Of course, at this point, they are beaming at reaching this milestone. They comment, “Who thought the gallery would endure so long and become such a recognized regional asset? We are overwhelmed with appreciation for this community, for our customers, and for the wonderful artists that keep our walls alive with their skill and imagination.”

It is fitting that two who have been with the gallery all twelve years are the featured artists for this Early Fall Show--founding member Karen Spratt and gallery co-owner Jerrie Morago under her artist’s nom de plume, Jerrie Jerné. Both artists are letting their imagination fly. Their offerings are guaranteed to delight the eye!

Riverfront’s 12th anniversary celebration will take place at the show’s opening reception on Saturday, September 14, 5:00 to 8:00. The Early Fall Show runs through November 3 at Riverfront Art Gallery, 132 Petaluma Blvd., Petaluma, CA. Closed Mon. & Tues. For more information on the gallery, please see the website: www.riverfrontartgallery.com.
