FREE Transit Services Update - October 29

Santa Rosa CityBus and Paratransit are operating

CityBus is not resuming service to areas under mandatory evacuation orders, therefore some routes will be truncated to serve the portion of the route that is outside of evacuated areas. This modified bus service will be offered with a reduced frequency timetable to ensure CityBus has enough vehicles available to support ongoing emergency transportation operations.

Printed maps and timetables will be available at the Transit Mall and aboard the buses. Please note that real-time information system (MyStop app/web/text platforms) will not be functioning for the modified routes and schedules. Call 707-543-3333 between 6:00AM – 7:30PM for assistance with trip planning.

The following routes will have service:

Route 1: Modified route—will not serve Coddingtown Mall. Service will operate between the Transit Mall and Pacific Avenue (across from Santa Rosa Junior College) only Route 2B: Regular route. Route 2 will not operate. Route 3: Regular route Route 4: Regular route. Route 4B will not operate Route 5: Regular route Route 8: Regular route Route 12: Regular route Route 15: Modified route—will not serve Coddingtown Mall. Service will operate from Transit Mall via Sebastopol Road, to Stony Point Road, and will serve the regular loop of Hearn Avenue, Dutton Meadow, Bellevue Avenue, and return to the Transit Mall via Stony Point Road and Sebastopol Road. Route 18: Regular route

Routes 2, 4B, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 19 will not operate.

Regional Transit Partners

Sonoma County Transit: Will operate with limited service in some areas. Please see details at https://sctransit.com/. The Route 60 express between Cloverdale and Rohnert Park will provide access to Safeway, Raley’s and CVS in Rohnert Park for residents of Cloverdale. Cloverdale remains without electricity and natural gas and grocery and pharmacy access is limited. Addition, a bus is being utilized for warming, charging electrical devices and Wi-Fi purposes in Cloverdale.

SMART: Will run fare free limited service Wednesday, October 30 through Wednesday, November 6. Service will operate from the Santa Rosa Downtown station to downtown San Rafael, serving all stations in between. Southbound service begins at 4:31 AM out of the Santa Rosa Downtown station, and northbound service begins 5:59 AM out of San Rafael. SMART will run 34 train trips each day. Please check SMART’s website: http://www.SonomaMarinTrain.org before starting your trip to ensure there are no schedule changes.
