I can't believe Summer is over! The great thing about September is that the Oscar caliber films start coming out. The one I'm excited about is   “The Goldfinch” starring Nicole Kidman, Ansel Elgort   and Luke Wilson. It comes outSeptember 13th. It's about Theodore Decker, who was 13 years old when his mother was killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The tragedy changes the course of his life, sending him on a stirring odyssey of grief and guilt.

Opening  September 20th is “Downton Abbey” starring Maggie Smith,  Hugh Bonneville and Michelle Dockery. It's hard to believe Smith is 84 years old. She looks amazing and is bound to steal every scene as she usually does. The Crawleys and their servants prepare a royal visit from the king and queen. You don't have to see the series to enjoy this new chapter.

Opening  September 27th is “Judy” starring Renee Zellweger and Michael Gambon. Thirty years after starring in “The Wizard of Oz” beloved actress and singer Judy Garland arrives in London to perform sold-out shows at The Talk of the Town nightclub. While there, she reminisces with friends and fans and begins a whirlwind romance with musician Mickey Deans, her soon-to-be fifth husband!

Also opening September 27th is  “21 Bridges” starring Chadwick Boseman   and Taylor Kitsch. After uncovering a massive conspiracy, an embattled NYPD detective joins a citywide manhunt for two young cop killers. As the night unfolds, he soon becomes unsure of who to pursue – and who's in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, authorities decide to take extreme measures by closing all of Manhattan's 21 bridges to prevent the suspects from escaping.
