Inflation keeps pushing food prices higher and higher, making food insecurity a risk for more Sonoma County residents. Statistics show that 1/3 of Sonoma County residents go hungry. These are some of the local organizations working to keep bellies full and happy.

How this organization is a change agent: Farm to Pantry connects the community through volunteering opportunities and educational field trips; they connect causes by partnering with other nonprofits & businesses. They help struggling small family farms stay afloat; they help build community gardens, and most importantly; they connect the abundance of Sonoma County with the need in Sonoma County. Since 2008, Farm to Pantry has delivered over 5 million servings of nutritious, locally-grown produce that might otherwise have gone wasted.

How you can help: Buy olive oil! Farm to Pantry volunteers harvested olives, which were made into oil and bottled. The label was created by a Cardinal Newman student, and now we are gifting people a bottle with a donation of $100 or more. Olive oil campaign donations are being accepted immediately until supplies run out through this link.
