“The Sonoma County Barrel Auction elevates the profile of Sonoma County’s wines across the globe. Now more than ever, wine lovers are exploring wine regions by tasting the creativity of winemakers and the grapes they work with,” says Cody Radelfinger, American AgCredit Vice President and Lending Manager. “American AgCredit is honored to support the work of Sonoma County Vintners for more than a decade.”

The Sonoma County Barrel Auction will be held at the idyllic MacMurray Estate Vineyards. It will feature one-of-a-kind wine futures crafted exclusively for the auction by beloved, hidden gem and iconic Sonoma County wineries in five, ten and twenty case lots. Trade attendees have the opportunity to bid on these unique lots that display the diversity of Sonoma County with varietals that include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bordeaux Blends, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Sparkling Wines and more. These lots provide trade members with wines for resale to their customers and ultra-premium wine collectors. With the support of presenting sponsor American AgCredit, the vintner community and our trade partners, Sonoma County Vintners anticipate an exciting return to this in-person auction.

“We are incredibly grateful for the long-term support we’ve received from American AgCredit, and all our amazing supporting partners” says Sonoma County Vintners Executive Director Michael Haney. “They have been champions of our programs for many years, which has allowed us to focus on promoting Sonoma County wines nationally and globally.”

The in-person auction events will kick off with an all-inclusive lot tasting preview event on May 5 at Bacchus Landing, a curated collective of wineries and spacious new event venue located in the heart of Healdsburg. Trade guests will also attend intimate Vintner Dinners held throughout Sonoma County the same evening. The Sonoma County Barrel Auction will be held on May 6 with a reception at historic MacMurray Estate Vineyards, followed by a luncheon under the live auction tent with a special Icons & Innovators presentation.
