The 4 Gift Holiday Gift Challenge

By Bonnie Hill

I really LOVE to see the expression on someone's face when they open up a gift that absolutely resonated with them. That sparkle in their eyes, the glow in their cheeks, their exclamations of delight warms my heart! I too also enjoy receiving that perfect gift, how could you not?

With the holiday season upon us, the pressure to find and give that perfect gift or gifts for children, family, and friends? This pressure can be overwhelming and stressful both phycologically and financially draining but there is another choice.

Rather than avalanching those you love with stuff and potentially stressing out over how to do it, I invite you to take part in the 4 Gift Holiday Challenge – this challenge is especially awesome for children and young people! How does it work you may ask, I will tell you it is as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4!

Here Are a Few More Reasons to Give This Challenge a Try!

1. Trying out the 4 Gift Holiday Challenge allows you to focus on QUALITY rather than QUANITY.

2. With some gentle explanation of this concept, your children will become excited to know that one special item off their “Something they Want” list is sure to happen every year!

3. The enviromental impact of less driving, wrapping items, mailing, and disposal of packaging post holiday etc. is something Mother Earth will surely appreciate.

4. The finanical burden of buying it all, in hopes to make someone's day can be relieved. Most who try this method actually end up SPENDING WAY LESS and if they don't then it is by choice not pressure.

In closing, I hope this idea, doesn’t seem too far-fetched or crazy now and that you give it a try! This will be the first year my little family participates in this concept and I hope it to be the first of many, as we turn inward and focus on what truely matters most…spending quality time with those we love!
