Sebastopol Center for the Arts live and silent auction

The SebARTS Auction: “Give. Believe. Inspire.” on Sunday, December 6, 5pm- 6:30pm, will be featuring local celebrity Ziggy Eschliman as the auctioneer. In the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, the silent and live auctions will support the Center for the Arts’ new distance learning program for local school children and ongoing art programming for the community.

"Through all the struggles and challenges of this year, art has been the one thing that inspires and lifts the spirits of people. It is spiritual nourishment. Our goal with this auction is to raise funds to continue to offer our art programs but also to fund our new Distance Learning Program for local schoolchildren," said Catherine Devriese, creative director of the Center for the Arts. “We are excited to have Ziggy Eschliman, also known as The Wine Gal, as our auctioneer. Her fun and friendly personality will keep you engaged and raising your paddle during the live auction!”

Registration is open now for an auction bid number and silent auction items at charityauction.bid/GiveBelieveInspire. The silent auction starts at 9am on November 16 and closes at midnight on December 10. It features inspiring works by renowned local artists and unique objects from local West County destinations. A "buy-it-now" option is available to close the bidding.

Auction attendees on the live stream on December 6 will enjoy watching Ziggy lead the audience through a paddle raise and at least 10 amazing auction items. Top items for auction include a Mexican Riviera vacation, an international vacation at a country house in France, a cottage stay along the California coast, an overnight stay at Healdsburg’s Harmon Guest House with a special guided art tour, as well as a Patrick Amiot sculpture. In addition, the auction features ceramics, paintings, wine and restaurant certificates and offerings from local retailers.

Devriese said the “Give. Believe. Inspire.” Auction “allows our supporters to celebrate from the comfort and safety of their homes, while still enjoying all of the elegance and fun of an auction.”
