Team Rubicon is a primarily military veteran volunteer force that stands ready to respond when disaster strikes. The team is a non-profit organization that is supported by generous individual and corporate donors and is ready to serve any community. Since 2010, they have supported communities in every state mitigate, respond to, and recover from disaster.

Team Rubicon focuses on serving vulnerable and at-risk populations affected by disaster. While the initial damage and trauma of natural disasters will impact any population regardless of socio-economic factors, the financial burden of recovery and rebuilding has dramatic and long-lasting repercussions on many rural and urban populations lacking proper insurance and public and private resources.

Over the past two decades, Fire Safe Sonoma has been instrumental in helping to educate residents about wildfire prevention and safety, taking on large scale fuels reduction projects, and creating the first chipper program in the county.
