Redwood Gospel Mission and Partner Businesses Smoking Over 200 Turkeys - To serve 5,000 guests

7 Businesses and Groups will be Smoking Over 200 turkeys in one day to serve 5,000 guests, November 23, 2019

Redwood Gospel Mission has been partnering with churches, community service providers and volunteers for over 25 years for The Great Thanksgiving Banquet. Traditionally, the Mission began cooking turkeys in mid-October, carving the turkeys, freezing, then warming at the Banquet.

This year we are preparing turkey for 5,000 people differently. In partnership with The Bull 106.3 and Epicenter we will be smoking over 250 turkeys

Turkey Smokers Businesses & Groups Include:

· Big Jim’s BBQ

· Charlie’s BBQ

· Guy Fieri*

· Keith's BBQ Beast

· KIN Smoke

· Mendocino BBQ Catering

· Sweet T’s Restaurant*

*Indicates Businesses or Groups, who will be smoking turkeys for the event at different locations.

For the public there will be music, turkey tasting, a turkey smoking demonstration and a turkey drop off. Turkeys donated will be given out to families in need at The Great Thanksgiving Banquet on Wednesday, November 27th at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
