PG&E Power Restoration still in Progress - UPDATE November 5, 2019

Passing this message along from PG&E:

We thank everyone for their patience as PG&E crews continued to safely restore gas and electric customers overnight and this morning and will continue to do so today.

Crews are replacing poles, lines and other equipment throughout the fire footprint today to restore power to those who remain without power. Those customers mostly have Geyserville and Healdsburg addresses but some are in Middletown and Calistoga. We expect to restore power to a significant number of people today.

On Sunday, Oct. 27, as a result of the Kincade Fire, and to ensure the safety of our customers, the community and first responders, approximately 24,600 natural gas customers had their gas service proactively shut off. The warming shelter we provided in Healdsburg closed on Sunday, as St. Paul’s Episcopal Church returned to normal business.

Gas service has been restored for approximately 23,300 customers. Yesterday, Monday, we were right on schedule with completing 100 percent of our first pass, which means we have visited every home and business who was without gas.

On Tuesday, crews will work to safely restore the remaining 1,300 customers currently without gas… many of these customers remain without gas because we have not been able to get into the property. They are located in Healdsburg and Windsor and we will continue to have a presence there until we’ve re-visited every location a second and third time and fulfill appointments.

Please do not attempt to turn the gas on yourself or relight your pilot light. Customers can call 1-800-743-5000 to let us know they’ll be home.

PG&E is staffing a table at the County’s Local Assistance Center at the Healdsburg Community Center,1557 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Wednesday, Nov. 6, at least. That may extended through Saturday, if needed.
