In last month's RadioLand column, we reported on some of the excellent sights and sounds at KBBF’s annual Trunk or Treat event. However, one reader read the piece and wrote in:

There is no such thing as a "fifties Mercury Straight Eight." Mercury started in 1939 with a Flathead V8 and possibly a Straight 6. Never made a Straight Eight.
