Women’s Spaces Returns to KBBF

Every week, the Women’s Spaces one-hour program highlights the women and organizations that make a difference for people around the world. The show is broadcast live Mondays at 11am, and is replayed at 11pm. After a brief hiatus in which favorite shows of the past were replayed, host Elaine B. Holtz is bringing back the live program beginning this month.

Recently, she shared with RadioLand her gratitude to the show’s dedicated, loyal listeners.

“To all my listeners and KBBF staff, thank you so much for your loving support. The month of March feels like a blur due to a medical emergency we successfully dealt with in Sutter Hospital, thanks to their competent, ethnically diverse doctors and nurses. I hope you enjoyed the reruns.”

She added, “Please note we will be returning on the air live and energized April 1. We will have a special guest on, talking about The .New Green Deal. On April 15, I am excited to announce I will be interviewing some of the young people who organized the North Bay Youth Climate Strike in solidarity with National & Global Youth Climate Strike.”

This strike occurred on Saturday, March 15, when an estimated 200 people of all ages gathered in Santa Rosa’s Courtyard Square. They pledged their support of the tens of thousands of young climate change activists in 120 countries who skipped school that day in what some are calling the biggest environmental protest in history.

Archives of past Women’s Spaces programs are always available for listening at www.womensspaces.com.
