Thanksgiving should be a special time for everyone, The Redwood Gospel Mission, partners with dozens of local churches and hundreds of volunteers to make Thanksgiving special for the poor and needy in Sonoma County. Guests coming have a warm Thanksgiving meal served to them by volunteers wanting to make a difference in others’ lives. In addition to a lovely prepared Thanksgiving dinner, the event will also offer homeless and underprivileged men, women and families flu shots, free haircuts, foot washing, facials, manicures, winter coats, games and crafts for the children and other services and activities.
