Do you remember that long-lasting sitcom Cheers, where the patrons all knew each other, and the Character of the place gave a home away-from-home vibe? Mix that ‘Cheers’ ambiance with an intimate elegance and you’ve got Gravenstein Grill.
In March of 2017 Bob Simontacchi (Head Chef), Brandon Parkhurst (Partner and Manager) and Owen Berrett (Partner, manager and elixir mixer) opened Gravenstein Grill in the old charming French Garden location in Sebastopol on Bodega Highway as you head out of town.
And let’s not forget the music that fills Gravenstein Grill, with jazz night every Thursday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., andSundays on the patio highlighting Flamenco Guitarist, David ‘el Oso’ Jenkins from 11 to 2 p.m., April to mid-October.
With the holidays upon us, it’s easy to cringe at the thought of all we must accomplish, the shopping and cooking and worn out feet, looking for the perfect gift. Imagine sinking into a comfy chair during it all and taking a load off as you recharge your batteries and pause to sip Chef Bob’s old-fashioned Eggnog, aged to perfection. A liquid memory, taken to the next level. The Eggnog is available only after Thanksgiving and through the holidays.
Come, let this distinctive restaurant enliven your senses and calm your harried holiday nerves. You will feel revived and ready to tackle anything the holidays can throw at you, able once again to lift your rejuvenated self from that chair and celebrate the spirit and harmony of the season.
