Assistance for Agricultural Communities
Impacted by the Wildfires
Kincade Fire Recovery Resources

Sonoma County Farm Bureau needs your help to find those in our agricultural community who have been impacted by the recent wildfires and also individuals who are willing to help.

Can You Provide:

  • Confirmed names, contact information and description of losses/impact for individuals/employees in the agricultural community who have lost property and or been impacted?

  • Confirmed names, contact information and description of losses/impact for small farmers who lost revenue?

  • Long term shelter (up to 2 months) for livestock and horses? Also, please indicate if there is an opportunity for the owner to live on the property close to their livestock (up to 2 months). Please provide contact information.

  • Financial support for hay, feed and other livestock supplies? Visit  https://www.gofundme.com/kmrfxs-kincade-fire-relief-fund

  • Your time in the future to volunteer in helping our community rebuild fences, clean up, etc.?

  • Any additional resources?

Local Assistance Center

Residents impacted by the Kincade Fire can access recovery services and resources at the Local Assistance Center (LAC) which will open Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Healdsburg Community Center, 1557 Healdsburg Ave. 

The LAC will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily through Wednesday, November 6, 2019. The LAC may remain open after this date if needed. Language access services, including Spanish interpretation will be available.

Government agencies and non-profits will be available to answer questions, offer resources and take applications to determine eligibility for various available resources. All Sonoma County residents can access services regardless of immigration status. For more information, click on the link for English and Spanish versions of the overview.

Thanks to our robust membership, the Sonoma County Farm Bureau has provided hay and feed for 750 cattle, 50 goats and 25 horses & mules and almost 500 evacuated animals at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds!
