Sonoma Coast Beach Cleanup February 4 at Goat Rock

The B-Rad Foundation, in partnership with Russian Riverkeeper, Sonoma Coast Surfrider, the Clean River Alliance, and the Rock Ice and Mountain Club, is proud to announce that our Sonoma Coast Stewardship Day will once again be held at Goat Rock Beach on February 4th, 2017. Join with us and celebrate our amazing coastline where the Russian River meets the Pacific for a day of stewardship, community, and fun. Last year we were able to remove over 2000 pounds of trash and debris from our beloved Sonoma Coast State Beaches and this year the beach needs our help once again.

Sonoma Coast Beach Cleanup February 4 at Goat RockGloves, closed toe shoes, wind jacket (dress in layers), sunscreen, reusable water bottle.  B-Rad is providing pizza but folks who want anything else can bring a lunch.

Everyone will meet at the “North Goat parking lot” which is the one with restrooms/flushing toilet.  There will be A-frames at the entrance to Goat Rock Beach with arrows directing people to the lot.

We will have raffle prizes, drinks from Guaykai Yerba Mate, Taylor Maid Farms, and Drifter Pizza’s gourmet creations right on the beach. The event will run from 10-1pm at the lower northern parking lot at Goat Rock Beach, nearest the Russian Rivermouth. Bring your family and friends and join us to support and steward our Sonoma Coast!
