Purls of Joy Charity Projects and Events

Purls of Joy Charity Projects and Events

Purls of Joy opened in December 2010 with the intent of becoming a warm and welcoming place for knitters and crocheters. We carry a variety of yarns from basic to sublime with a focus on affordable quality products. Excellent customer service is our hallmark.

Each month we offer 20 or more project classes. Beginning knit, crochet, socks and sewing are always available by appointment.

We believe in giving back and focus on charity projects such as Project Linus and Alice's Embrace. Project Linus provides blankets to at risk children of all ages in our county. Alice's Embrace provides prayer shawls and lap robes to people with Alzheimer's. Our Beanie Brigade is in its  fifth year and has given over 2500 helmet liners to our troops.

Purls of Joy has a thriving community of fiber enthusiasts. Join us for our weekly Sit & Stitch times -  Sundays from 2 to 4 pm and Thursdays from 5 to 8 pm, except the second week of the month which features a Friday UFO night. We hope to see you soon.
