North Sonoma County Services (, a community-based 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, offering transitional housing, rent stabilization and homeless outreach services in northern Sonoma County, held its 15th Annual Dinner in the Vineyard fundraising event on August 27 at Alexander Valley Hall in Geyserville.

Over 160 people attended the event, which included wine tasting, dinner, a silent and live auction, and music by jazz saxophonist Maikel Garcia.

“We are thrilled that we raised over $45,000,” said NSCS Executive Director Colleen Carmichael. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and these funds will help us continue to support homeless individuals and families work towards self-sufficiency, independence and permanent housing.

Proceeds from Dinner in the Vineyard will go towards using previously owned portable classrooms for housing the homeless, adding to the rent stabilization fund, and expanding our master lease program.
