A Harley for the Kiddies!
Vet Connect Sonoma County

by Martina Lewis

Attention parents, grandparents, and everyone else who knows two-to-six-year-olds. Buy some raffle tickets to win a Harley for them. Yep. That’s right. A 40-inch long Rockin’ Motorcycle will be raffled off on October 1 at the Chilly Billy Hot Rod & Motorcycle Show, held at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds in Petaluma. This lifelike, wooden  Rockin’ Motorcycle is being offered by Vet Connect and was made by Dave Kistenmacher, vice president of Vet Connect. “I left a few imperfections so people would know for sure that it’s handmade,”  he assured me. And it truly is something every young child would love to “ride.”

Raffle tickets are $2.00 each or three for $5.00. You can buy them at the Vet Connect booth at the Wednesday Night Market on 4th Street. You can also buy them at the Vet Connect booth every second and fourth Saturday at the Farmers Market by the Santa Rosa Veterans Building. Or stop by Vet Connect every Tuesday from 9:00-12:00 in the Santa Rosa Veterans Building. You do not have to be present at the drawing to win. All proceeds go to help Sonoma County veterans.

So buy raffle tickets to help veterans! And one little boy or girl is going to be very happy with his or her own Rockin’ Motorcycle!
