Step Back in Time at the Petaluma Adobe

Step Back in Time at the Petaluma Adobe

State Parks invites you to celebrate the Petaluma Adobe Living History Day. The event means family fun as the 1840’s Mexican California era comes to life outside the two story adobe walls of a rancho headquarters. All visitors are welcome to meet the vaqueros, traders, cooks, crafts men and women, and others who lived in Old California.

Saturday, May 14th, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors will have the opportunity to experience the activity and color of living history volunteers adorned in beautiful authentic clothing demonstrate old crafts and present entertaining historical skits that reveal the stories of the past.  Have fun learning basket weaving and candle making techniques. Visitors should dress appropriately for being out of doors.  Bring your picnic lunch, spread a blanket, relax and enjoy the spring vista and glimpse into another time at this fascinating state park.  Drink and food concessions are not available in the park.

Admission for adults (age 17 and older) is $3.00, children (age 6 to 16) is $2.00, 5 and under enter free.
