"Water Bark" Days in September

By Melissa Kelley

The Spring Lake Water Bark, an event that allows dogs to swim and play off-leash at the Spring Lake Swimming Lagoon, will take place over three weekends this September. Water Barks will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27. The event takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily except Saturday, September 19, when the Water Bark starts at noon due to the morning Viking Opener cross country meet.

Entry fees for the Water Bark are $3 per dog for Sonoma County Regional Parks’ members and $5 per dog for non-members. Parking is free for members or $7 per vehicle for non-members. For convenience, attendees may purchase tickets online in advance at SpringLakeWaterBark.BrownPaperTickets.com.

The Parks Foundation thanks this year’s sponsors of the Spring Lake Water Bark: Hansel Subaru, Paradise Pet Resorts, AcCounting on Computers, Green Valley Consulting Engineers, Sonoma County Waste Management Agency, Alderbrook Pet Hospital, and Unleashed by Petco.
