Farm Trails Self-Guided Tour, September 26-27 - Get A Taste of Farm Life

Farm Trails Self-Guided Tour, September 26-27

Get A Taste of Farm Life

The fresh snap of fall is in the air and local farms are abundant with the harvest. Sonoma County Farm Trails invites you to head out to the farms for Weekend Along the Farm Trails. From 10 am to 4 pm on September 26 and 27, tour your way along sun-dappled back roads and stop in at the participating farms of your choice, many of which are not regularly open to the public. Take part in demonstrations, visiting with friendly farm animals, hayrides, corn mazes, games and crafts for kids, cooking demos, tastings, flower arranging, and more. Some locations charge modest fees for special tours and activities, but entry to all farms and most activities are free of charge.

Many stops will offer snacks, lunches and scenic picnic sites blooming with autumn color. Farm stands will be open for fresh-from-the-source purchases. Don’t forget to pack a cooler for toting home farm-fresh treasures.

It’s all brought to you by Sonoma County Farm Trails, the folks who print the annual map and guide to local farms, put on the Gravenstein Apple Fair, and are dedicated to preserving Sonoma County’s agricultural heritage.
