NO Summer Nights Concert on Thursday, July 2nd in Windsor.

Instead each year Windsor celebrates Independence Day on July 3rd at Keiser Park.  The Town of Windsor and Gianni Productions presents, KABOOM! Live Music and Fireworks Show.  This is one of the best fireworks shows around, drawing over 12,000 people last year.  The doors open at 4:00 pm, with food vendors and a huge Kids Zone.  You can bring food, but no outside alcohol or bbqs are permitted.  Beer, Wine and Margaritas will be available on site for purchase.  Tickets are $5 (Kids under 2 are free.)  There is a limited number of VIP Tickets at $50.  Includes event entrance, BBQ meal, 2 beers, VIP Tent access with seating, exclusive front row viewing, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks and private air-conditioned restrooms.  Plan on coming early and finding parking at WHS or on the streets as there will not be any parking available in the Park. 

Windsor Town Green - Full of colorful quilts on Sunday, July 5th.

Don't miss the 10th Annual All American Quilts & Textiles Show.  The Farmers Market partners with The Material Girl Fabric Lounge for this wonderful event that raises funds for the Windsor Relay for Life.  Three (3) Quilts will be raffled off this year with all proceeds from 2 of the quilts going to Relay for Life.  One quilt handmade by Nicole Cowlin, owner of The Material Girl and a vintage quilt donated by Glenda Castelli.  The park will be full of color with dozens of quilts, vintage fashions and local quilters, knitters and shabby chic artists.  This year's theme is, “Textiles & Vintage Fashions”.  There is still time if you would like to display a handmade Quilt or Textile from your family or maybe you have your grandmothers wedding dress?  These would be on loan and displayed during the show.  Contact for an Application to sell at the show or an Entry form to loan a quilt, textile or fashion.  Interested in volunteering, contact, she is raising funds for her Windsor Relay for Life Team and works hard hanging all the quilts up early Sunday morning, she could use your help.  They also need Mannequins or dress forms, for purchase or will take loans.  The Show is Sunday, July 5th, 9-2, and the Farmers Market is 10-1, on the Windsor Town Green.  Check our website or facebook for up to date details.

Kids Movies are back on 2nd Saturdays in Windsor.

This year the Town of Windsor will be presenting the Kids Movie Series on the second Saturday of each month, June through September.  On July 11th pack a sweatshirt and some blankets and bring the whole family down to see, Night at the Museum- Secrets of the Tomb.  The movie starts at dusk, approximately 8:30-8:45 on the Windsor Town Green.  Snacks will be available for purchase.

The Charlie Brown Christmas Tree Grove is back on the Windsor Town Green. 

This fun annual event is now presented by and benefiting the People4Parks Organization.  A local group of hardworking Windsor citizens who promote and raise money to improve Windsor Parks projects.  The group is currently looking for sponsors and volunteers who would like to get involved in this fun project.  Contact Karen at 707-837-0605 to request sponsorship packet or to sign up to be a volunteer.  This is an exciting year for Charlie Brown as the new, “Peanuts Movie” will be out in November.   The Charlie Brown Christimas Tree Grove opens on December 3rd with over 200 trees available for local businesses, classrooms, families and more to purchase and decorate starting in the Fall.  You can visit the group at

Hilarious play about teens this month at Raven Windsor.

Raven Theater Windsor hosts an Odyssey Theater Production of “Youth in Revolt – The Adventures of Nick Twisp”.  A story about a cynical, sex-obsessed teenager's pining love for an intelligent girl.  Show nights are July 16 through July 25th.  Check the website for more info at
