A Garden Party for The Living Room

The public is cordially invited to attend “A Garden Party,” The Living Room’s annual summer event benefiting homeless women and children. It will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015, 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the beautiful enchanting grounds of Pythian House, a secluded mountain sanctuary, 1001 Pythian Road (at Hwy 12), Santa Rosa. Enjoy a delightful afternoon of wine and hors d’ oeuvres, live music performed by Stephanie Ozer, a silent auction, and a diamond jewelry raffle.

This is our annual signature event, always well attended and a lot of fun! Catering will be provided by Park Avenue Catering, flowers by Pedy’s Petals, delicious cupcake favors from Sift Cupcake + Dessert Bar. A glass of champagne from Korbel Champagne Cellars will be presented to guests upon arrival, and wine from Ancient Oak Cellars, Kendall-Jackson, and other local wineries will be served during the event.

Tickets are $100 per person and are on sale now. Purchase them online at www.thelivingroomsc.org or by phone at 707-579-0138. Proceeds from this event will help us continue our programs and help fund the renovation of our new facility we will occupy this fall.

Dr. David Noorthoek, E.R. Sawyer Jewelers, and Westamerica Bank, are some of the generous sponsors we thank for making this event possible.

The Living Room is the only daytime drop-in center in Sonoma County specifically serving women and their children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We fill a special need in conjunction with other community agencies by providing participants with a warm and safe place to be during the day when shelters are closed. The Living Room is also a critical first stop for women who are on the verge of becoming homeless, the first place at-risk or newly homeless turn to for relief and referral guidance. Our program is designed to foster self-sufficiency and independence in an atmosphere of respect. Donations can be sent to The Living Room Center, 636 Cherry St., Santa Rosa, CA 95404, 707-579-0138, or donate online at www.thelivingroomsc.org. 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Tax ID# 58-2675876.
