Rainbows to the Russian River

Russian River WONDERLAND will be decked out in every color of the rainbow all weekend staring Friday June 5th with 1st Friday ArtWalk - culminating in a parade in downtown Guerneville and Festival into the evening on Sunday, June 7th. Seeking EQUALITY EVERYWHERE - there is no doubt this community will be bursting with PRIDE for the accomplishements of these last few years toward the goal of Liberty and Justice for ALL.

Take in a tour through history at the Guernville Lodge all weekend with the Russian River GLBT History Exhibit. This community has been a safe haven for people of all persuaions for a very long time and takes pride in the fact that it is home to all people.

Rio Theater will be in full glory throughout the weekend both inside on stage and on the dance floor as well as outside along the river. Beach parties with with canoe and kayaks, BBQ and games along the waterfront, then for people with energy into the night, the Tora Hymen Show will fill the nightclub with lights, music and action into the night.

On Sunday starting at 11am, there will be the most colorful parade Guerneville has all year - which is saying a LOT - as revelers costume-up to celebrate the Free to Be Me environment the Russian River offers everyone. Starting at noon the Pride Festival closes out the weekend at Guerneville Lodge.
