Sonoma County Community Road Forums

Sonoma County Community Road Forums

Improving Sonoma County roads is a top County priority

Supervisor Efren Carrillo announced a series of Community Road Forums throughout the 5th District as part of the County’s ongoing focus on road improvement in 2015.  The Forums will focus on the County of Sonoma’s Long Term Road Plan, the recently adopted 2-year Pavement Preservation Program, and the Board’s efforts to increase funding for the repair of Sonoma County’s aging road system.

The Forums will also reveal the conditions of County roads, demonstrate how road work is funded and provide an overview of how the County is working to fix and maintain local roads.

5th District Supervisor Efren Carrillo commented, “The 5th District needs better roads for students to get to school, local businesses to bring their products to the marketplace, and for residents and visitors to safely and easily access our beautiful Sonoma County coast.  These Forums will let local 5th District residents know how we are working to address West County road issues, and provide an opportunity to let us know their concerns.”
