Healdsburg Heritage Redwood
SAVE THIS TREE mission for Locals

Folks in Healdbsurg are hoping to save a Heritage Redwood from the saw. It is 120' tall and 75" around at 4.5' high. The homeowner at 325 Fitch Street (between Plaza & North streets), Healdsburg (walking distance from Town Plaza) has asked for a permit to cut it down.

The Healdsburg Planning Commission hearing is March 24th at the City Council Chambers at 401 Grove Street at 6pm. Dawn Dhyanna has asked me to help her and other concerned people to save this tree.

If you have independent resources to offer (i.e. tree specialists who can evaluate), please contact her at dhyannai@comcast.net or, 707-292-0970.They can also submit comments to the Planning Director for the City of Healdsburg, Barbara Nelson: bnelson@ci.healdsburg.ca.us. Or, call her at: 707-431-3348.
