Here's a list of events celebrating 4th of July throughout Sonoma County. Some are one event on one day and some carry on over several days. There's somewhere to celebrate our country's independent spirit for everyone! NOT all fireworks - some MUSIC - BBQ - Family Fun!

Jul 3 ~ Windsor KABOOM! Fireworks Celebration ~ Keiser Park, 700 Windsor River Rd. Food, music and of course....fireworks! Benefit for Wounded Warrior Project. Huge kid zone and so much more. 4-10pm ~

Jul 4 ~ Celebrate with the Santa Rosa Symphony ~ a family-friendly Independence Day orchestral concert amidst an afternoon of festivities, culminating in a dazzling choreographed fireworks display. Jul 4 ~ Petaluma Fourth of July Fireworks ~ Food, drinks, fun zone for kids, live music. Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds 5-10pm ~ fireworks about 9:30pm, 273-8258 ~ Festivities start at 3pm, live music at 6pm and the fireworks start after 9pm. Jul 4 ~ Healdsburg Fireworks Celebration ~ presented by the American Legion - Sotoyome Post 111, at the Healdsburg High School Football Field. Fireworks begin at dusk and last approx. 40 minutes. More info call 953-7242. INFO:

Jul 4 ~ Kenwood 4th of July ~ Events start at 7am with a pancake breakfast, go into a footrace, then at 10am the parade will circle around the Kenwood Plaza Park on 200 Warm Springs Rd. Jul 4 ~ Healdsburg 4th of July Duck Dash & Kids’ Parade ~ in the Downtown Plaza, 11-1PM. Features a parade, prizes, pie eating contests, duck decorating, face painting and live music. 318-3101. Rotary Club of Healdsburg Sunrise

Jul 5 ~ Penngrove Pancake Breakfast – Rancho Adobe Fire Station serves up pancakes, eggs, sausage / bacon, juice, fruit from 7 – 11 am on Sat., Jul 5. Tickets $7; kids , $5 children 12 and under. Jul 5 ~ Monte Rio Fireworks ~ Spend a full day in the laid back town of Monte Rio and cap it off with the one of a kind boat parade, patriotic water curtain presentation and of course fireworks. FREE event at the Monte Rio Public Beach. Events begin at 6pm. More info at 865-9956. Events start on the 4th with the Big Rocky Games and continue though the 6th.

Jul 6 ~ Penngrove Parade and BBQ – “Biggest Little Parade in Northern California” at 11 am on Main Street, followed by music and BBQ in Penngrove Park, Noon – 4 pm. Free celebration; BBQ, games, drinks available for purchase.
