Bicycles, motorhomes trailers & RV’s, logging trucks, locals & vacationers, wine tasting limousines, delivery trucks and pedestrians are all sharing our narrow (shoulder-less in most areas) rural roads and highways these mid-summer days and nights. Throw in a few ‘road cows’ and deer wandering through the traffic lanes and you have a good idea of the picturesque landscape along our coast and inland roadways.

Jenner now has a Second Great Restaurant: El Tiburon! The food is bringing rave reviews from all. Owner Juan Navarro (of Sazon Restaurant fame in Santa Rosa) has brought his amazing menu to West Sonoma County, and we couldn’t be happier! Harbor seals are being protected by volunteers AND locals, and Firefighter heroes keep everyone safe on our every-changing coast.

A cluster of giant purple and white Iris’ stand noble and tall a few feet from Seaview Road. These elegant beauties once graced the garden gate of the (now demolished) historic family home of Bev and Stan Hanson.

Wildflowers are blooming in profusion on the hills and bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Whales are still cruising by close enough to be seen without binoculars. The beautiful weather has brought out cycling enthusiasts, who seem to be everywhere; clinging to the (non-existent) shoulder of scenic Highway One as well as touring our coastal backroads made famous by Levi Leipheimer and Lance Armstrong.
