Auditor-Controller Treasurer-Tax Collector offers a paperless Property Tax e-Billing System

The County of Sonoma is pleased to announce that its Property Tax e-Billing System is now live. By enrolling, taxpayers will receive a tax bill via email. The Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector’s office invites all interested taxpayers to sign up this service at www.sonoma-county.org/acttc. Taxpayers enrolled by September 1 will receive an e-Bill for their secured property tax payments due December 11, 2017, and April 10, 2018.

“We are always looking for new and innovative ways to protect our environment and encourage our community members to sign up for this convenient new service,” commented Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Shirlee Zane. “Sending tax bills via email helps lower the County’s carbon footprint and makes this essential administrative function more efficient.”

Taxpayers who enroll in the program will help conserve local resources and lower the cost of administering local government tax programs. Online payments can be made with an eCheck ($1.50 convenience fee is charged) or credit/debit card (2.34% convenience fee is charged) or by using a pay-by-phone payment option by calling (888) 636-8418.
