SMART Train safety testing at higher speeds 6 am to midnight

SMART is moving into its next phase of systemwide safety testing beginning as early as 6 a.m., and ending as late as midnight. Speeds are increasing as the trains get closer to beginning service. Please BE ALERT to the train horn as it approaches the intersection. PAY ATTENTION to flashing lights in Quiet Zones. OBEY all crossing signals and barriers to avoid accidents.

Public safety is our top priority and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we near the completion of testing.

For information about our systems and safety testing, feel free to call our hotline: (707) 794-3077. To learn more about lifesaving railroad safety information, please visit www.BeTrackSMART.org.
