One in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. In 2017 we will have an estimated 161,360 new cases of prostate cancer. 10-15% of men diagnosed with prostate cancer have fast growing life threatening tumors. In the United States 2.9M men have been diagnosed and living with prostate cancer. One man in thirty-nine will die of prostate cancer.
Education regarding prostate cancer and early detection strategies is critical to saving lives and preserving our families. As is the message of hope and availability of emotional healing systems from the ravaging side effects of Prostate cancer.
Living Well 60 Plus, seeks a confirmation by the City of Healdsburg to issue a Proclamation backing The National Prostate Cancer Awareness month. Virgil Beasley, Psy.D. will request respected cities with Sonoma County to also, issue proclamation backing National Prostate Cancer Awareness.
