Oct 16, 2017

Creative Sonoma and Arts Council Napa Valley are partnering to provide our artists and creatives with links to emergency relief assistance available for those affected by the fires. Thanks go out to the Actors Fund and MusiCares for their previous collection of many of these resources.

Please continue to check CreativeSonoma.org as we are updating it regularly as we come across new resources – and send any assistance sites you encounter our way as well.

Creative Sonoma Recovery Fund.  On Friday, we established the Creative Sonoma Recovery Fund to provide emergency financial assistance to members of the Creative Community. Funds will be available to creatives who can demonstrate their financial need and their place in the creative community. You can donate to the Creative Sonoma Recovery Fund atwww.CreativeSonoma.org.

If you are planning a benefit and want a portion of the proceeds to go to our remarkable creative community, please send an email toGloria.rubio@sonoma-county.org. 100% of donations will be tax deductible and will be applied to the relief funds.

Applications for funds will be available at www.CreativeSonoma.org by the end of the week.  Creatives who want to register to receive information when the first round of funding is made available may do so by emailing their name and current contact information toGloria.rubio@sonoma-county.org.

Creative Recovery Exchange - Person to Person matches.  If you have been affected by the fires, you can post your need for specific goods and services at CreativeSonoma.org on the Marketplace. If you have goods and services to donate, you can also post atCreativeSonoma.org. This is a person-to-person match source - a Craigslist for creatives.  You can also post on this site if you want to volunteer your time, or if you are available to participate in benefits.

As more resources become available and known to us, we will update our Emergency Resources webpage.
