RIo Rainbow Rumba by Julie HigginsThe Sonoma County Blues Festival is pleased to invite visual artists to apply to this year's juried art show happening during the Blues Festival Aug. 19th at SOMA Village in Rohnert Park. The prospectus is available by emailing artrep@sonic.net. The “Call to Visual Artists” is open to any and all interested artists. SOMO Village and SOMO Concerts will celebrate Northern CA with a day long pop-up festival filled with nationally acclaimed Sonoma grown blues and a Juried Fine Art Show with Juror Jerrold Ballaine. Patrons will be delighted by the main stage featuring legendary local legendary bluesman Charlie Musselwhite, vocalist, guitarist, composer, producer and Santa Rosa High School Alumnus Doyle Bramhall II, Award Winning Bay area Blues vocalist Ms Taylor P Collins more. Kathleen McCallum, a long-time North Bay artist, arts advocate and event producer has joined the Sonoma County Blues Festival as the Director of this year’s new Juried Art Show. Art show deadline July 31 or until full. Art walls are available for festival use.
