98 Year Old victim of Hurricane Irma moves to PEP Housing

Bill lost EVERYTHING in Hurrican Irma and PEP is getting him here and giving him a home - Can you help?

When I learned of the wide-spread devastation from Hurricane Harvey, I immediately reached out to HUD to get permission to house two low-income seniors. The answer was no, HUD has not taken the necessary steps to make that happen. I didn't give up. What seemed like fate now, I received a call from a someone I didn't know that was trying to help her friend help her friend, a 98 year old man living in a makeshift shelter in Miami find a place to live. He has no family in Florida and lost everything during Hurricane Irma.

Bill is a low-income senior with no options. His friend who lives in Marin County is trying to help him find housing. A non-HUD unit came up after another applicant had to decline the unit due to an unplanned surgery.

Bottom-line is Bill needs to get out of the shelter and into housing immediately. His friend will pick him up and bring him to Petaluma. I need to raise funds to put his home together as he lost everything. I am organizing this while I am out of the Country so we are seeking financial contributions only (tax deductible) to fly him out and purchase what he needs to live out the final years of his life in dignity.

If you can help, please donate via this link. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping Bill. I know it's only one person but it's an important life that we can help. Thank you.
