Every holiday season, Healdsburg Center for the Arts fills up with a wonderful bounty of artist-made goods. This annual sale is an opportunity for Regional artists to showcase and sell their work, and for the community to purchase unique, handmade gifts, which supports Healdsburg Center for the Arts and our communities. Artist created work that includes Books, Cards, Ceramics, Drawing, Glass, Holiday Themed, Games, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Painting, Paper, Pastel, Photography, Plastic, Puzzles, Textiles, Toys, Watercolor, and Wood.

Dec 1 ~ Cloverdale Arts Alliance Pop-Up Craft Faire

On December 1, the Cloverdale Arts Alliance Gallery will be transformed into a Holiday Pop-Up Craft Faire featuring locally made items perfect for gift giving, or just to treat yourself. Meet the artists and crafters and get into the holiday spirit with spiced cider, cookies and other homemade snacks. “We are still selecting local crafters and artists to participate in this event,” said artist and CAA board member, Laura Carr. “So far, we have jewelry, ceramics, woodwork, dolls, and hand sewn items for babies, kids and the home. We expect to also have entertainment, and holiday fun for the whole family.” Artists, crafters and entertainers interested in participating in this event can contact Carr at lauracarr232@comcast.net or (707) 490-6977. The Cloverdale Arts Alliance Gallery is located at 204 N. Cloverdale Blvd. The fair is on Saturday, December 1, 11AM to 5PM. Admission is free. The Cloverdale Arts Alliance is a non-profit arts organization bringing cultural arts to northern Sonoma County. CAA programs include Friday Night Live at the Plaza, Art Gallery, THE Jazz Club, Americana Night, Blues Session, Music Workshops, Discovering Art Series, Art Classes, Wine Appreciation Workshops, and Special Events.

Shop locally made this holiday season at a new one-day holiday market and winter lounge gathering over 40 of the Bay Area’s favorite and emerging craftspeople at the beautiful Barlow in Sebastopol. Shoppers will have the chance to direct their holiday shopping dollars towards the North Bay community by shopping from a unique roster of makers, while exploring The Barlow, a former apple-packing warehouse now a 12.5-acre outdoor market district featuring local food, wine, beer, spirits and crafts made onsite by Sonoma County artisans. Designed to mix up the holiday shopping season with a destination event, the Holiday Market gathers well-known designers from San Francisco, as well as up-and-coming brands from the East and North Bay. Vendors will be donating a percentage of sales to Undocufund, which is providing direct funding to undocumented immigrants and their families who were affected by the Northern California fires. The event will feature locally made accessories, jewelry, home goods, apparel, aprons and kitchen accessories, artisan food and drink, stationery and cards, apothecary and more. Shoppers will have the opportunity to shop for custom event pieces, holiday collections and product lines not available anywhere else. Participating vendors include fashion designers, Mira Blackman, Emily Sue Payne, Lascon Ravello, and home designers Johanna Sprague Design and Construction Lines, illustration and cards from Sophie Tivona Illustration and ayurvedic kitchen goodies from Elemental Alchemy, and more.
