The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know is how to SWIM...so if you don’t know yet - take lessons or use a life vest for safety.

CLOVERDALE

SANTA ROSA

SANTA ROSA

21 - Spring Lake Regional Park
A Sonoma County Regional Park located between Annadel State Park and Howarth Park,

Open daily, dawn to dusk. $7 parking fee. FREE with Park Pass. Swimming lagoon with sandy beach and concession stand. Lifeguard on duty through Labor Day. Use 393 Violetti Rd. entrance to access swimming in lagoon and also Boat Launch if bringing your own small boat. No gasoline motors. Electric permitted. Use 5585 Newanga Ave. entrance to access campgrounds and/or boat rentals, which is open 10-4pm daily.

 

FORESTVILLE

22 - Steelhead Beach Regional Park

27 - Stillwater Cove Regional Park

Open daily, dawn to dusk. $7 per vehicle. FREE with park pass. Small beach (no lifeguard) with boat launch open year-round for small boats and kayaks. Popular with  scuba and abalone divers. A portage to the Cove and the ocean is within a short walking distance of the launch.

 

BODEGA BAY

28 - Doran Regional Park

A Sonoma County Regional Park with Bodega Bay access. Open daily, dawn to dusk. $7 per vehicle. FREE with park pass. Swimming (no lifeguard), boating, camping, picnic areas.  2-mile stretch of sandy beach, a popular place for visitors to picnic, build sand castles, fly kites, surf, fish and stroll. A rock jetty at the harbor mouth provides access for fishing, crabbing and exploring sea life. The boat launch can accommodate up to 20-foot boats. A parking lot is located adjacent to the launch and can handle 30 vehicles with trailers.

29 - Westside Regional Park

A Sonoma County Regional Park with Bodega Bay access. Open daily, dawn to dusk. $7 per vehicle. FREE with park pass. No swimming. The park is ideal for fishing, with its boat launch and fish-cleaning station. A large vehicle and boat parking lot is located adjacent to the launch. Picnic tables and restrooms are on-site. The park is near stores and tackle shops. Marine fuel may be purchased at Spud Point Marina.

 

PETALUMA

30 - Petaluma Marina

Boat Launch Day Use: $2.00. Season passes available. No fee for kayak and canoe put-in.
The waters of the Petaluma Marina are part of the Petaluma River, a channel that runs fourteen miles from the north end of Petaluma to the San Pablo Bay. The river is enjoyed for its excellent boating, fishing, and water skiing.

31 - Petaluma River Turning Basin

Popular 2-acre Marin County park features single-lane boat launch for motorized and non-motored boats on to the Petaluma River.

 

SONOMA

33 - Hudeman Slough Boat Launch – Access to San Pablo Bay

Open daily year-round, dawn to dusk. Boat launch is accessible to the public with a key issued by the Sonoma County Regional Parks Department with a $15 annual fee and an access permit must be completed. Keys are available by calling 707-565-2041 or by coming in to the Regional Parks main office, located at 2300 County Center Drive, Suite 120A in Santa Rosa. Hours are Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), from 8-5. The launch is in an isolated area with no services available. The launch can accommodate boats up to 24 feet. The parking lot has 20 parking spaces.

LAKE SONOMA
