National Bird follows the dramatic journey of three whistleblowers who are determined to break the silence around one of the most controversial current affairs issues of our time: the secret U.S. drone war. At the center of the film are three U.S. military veterans. Plagued by guilt over participating in the killing of faceless people in foreign countries, they decide to speak out publicly, despite the possible consequences. The Forestville Historical Society is engaging in a new project. We are establishing a new website to garner and preserve old photographs and other memorabilia depicting the  history of our community. We are asking that any one who may have photos that would be relevant to this project  submit them on loan to the society for perusal and/or inclusion into the new website.  We are accepting photos up to the year and including 1945. After this part of the project is completed we will consider materials dated after 1945. Those of you who are interested in  contributing to the project may put their materials in an envelope or "shoebox", clearly marked with your name, and  drop them off at the Forestville Water Company office at 7131 Mirabel Road, near the corner of Highway 116 and Mirabel Road. We shall take very good care of the materiels, and when they are scanned for the project will get them safely  back to you.

WE3 = Working Without Worry ~ This brand new series called We3 "Working without Worry" takes place monthly on the 2nd Wednesday afternoon each month and covers a variety of topics including taking risks, finding balance, and taking care of business. Meetings are from 4p- 5p.  This time was selected to honor a woman’s need to put in a full work day and to be home with our families.  The facilitated discussions are meant to provide space and time for business professionals to connect in a light-hearted way to discuss work and family challenges while learning tools to address them.  FREE to PACC Members & Non-Members.

The 939 Local Task On Solid Waste (LTF) Is An Advisory Body To The Board Of Supervisors And The Sonoma County Waste Management Agency, And Is A Forum For Discussing Waste Related Issues In The County. We Meet Alternate Months On The Second Thursday Of The Month From 1:30 To 3pm In Santa Rosa.
