Mondays & Tuesdays ~ Kindergym ~ River to Coast Children‚s Services offers Kindergym Monday and Tuesday mornings 9:45 AM to 12:20 PM in Guerneville at the Guerneville Vets‚ Hall, located on the corner of 1st and Church Streets in downtown Guerneville. Features activities for children 0 to 6 years (accompanied by their care givers). FREE, but donations are accepted! Every Tues ~ Farm Classes at Root ~We work with children, teaching life skills through organic farming practices, with greater compassion and responsibility towards animals, the earth, and each other! We cover wild crafting ( edible and medicinal plants found in the wild), studying animal tracks, hiking with pack goats, planting a bee friendly garden for our honey bees, in the spring we will learn all about milking goats, and at the core of every class caring for farm animals in a compassionate and respectful manner! $10 fee, 2-3pm at Root Farm in Sebastopol. www.rootcarefarm.comor 707-477-3542 for more info.

4th Wednesday ~ All About Headaches: Join neurologist Allan L. Bernstein, M.D., in an open-ended discussion about the types of headaches, their causes and the role of medicine behavior and diet. Meetings are free and open to those who suffer from headaches and to their family and friends. The Headache Education & Support Group meets the 4th Wednesday of every month, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Room at Palm Drive Hospital, 501 Petaluma Ave., Sebastopol. Free referrals for child care, help paying for child care for eligible families, low cost Car Safety Seat program, low cost counseling for children and their families, children’s seasonal events, Kindergym twice a week in Guerneville, parent education workshops and parent support group, emergency resources for families with young children, resources and training for child care providers, information on shopping for quality child care.
